Greg's Guacamole

1 serrano pepper
6 medium-sized avocados
½ large white onion, finely chopped
½ cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced or crushed.
1 lime
Salt to taste
Place the whole serrano pepper in a frying pan and heat over high heat, turning occasionally, until blackened and blistered on all sides. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then mince.
Remove the flesh from each avocado and place into a large bowl. Add onion, cilantro, serrano, and garlic and mix to combine. Taste and season with salt and/or lime juice to your preferred flavor.
